Found out why I missed this, I very, very rarely venture into the 'Games' and so missed it completely not having known it had been moved here. (In fact, I think I last looked in here sometime last year.) Since I will probably neglect to look in here for another few months or so, I think it best to let you take my go Rath.

*thinks*
Thinkthinkthink... ;)

OK, here's one!

* Of course, lots of dwarfs, trolls, native people, trappers, hunters, and the merely badly lost had discovered it on an almost daily basis for thousands of years. But they weren't explorers and didn't count.

Whoops... maybe I should pick a less obscure one next time. *shrug* Oh well... never mind. I'll reveal it...

The book I was thinking of was Witches Abroad. The witches "discover" something (a waterfall, IIRC?) - and the footnote then says that everyone else discovered it on an almost daily basis, of course, but they're not explorers so they don't count. :p

Go ahead and pick a new footnote, MrsWizzard. :)

I think I know it, but I don't want this thread to become a battle between myself and Mrs Wizzard. Perhaps I should wait another day or two, and see if anyone else gets it? :)

I'm feeling very charitable. ;)
