(Recently, I listened to a podcast about the life of Paul Robeson, and it just hit me. In a parallel universe, "Old Man River" just might become a song about the feegles.
Sample lyrics:
There are blue men called the Nac Mac Feegle,
Those are blue men putting all in fear;
If you're unwise then you might offend them,
They'll steal your food and drink all your beer!
Nac Mac Feegle,
Those Nac Mac Feegle,
They'll steal your money
and they'll say it's funny,

P.S. I've performed "Old Man River" in concert. It's a favourite of mine. But it's way too easy to turn it into a song about the feegles)
